Summary/Objective
The Director, Talent Acquisition will lead the recruitment function by developing and implementing innovative and impactful strategies to source qualified talent to meet ACA’s human capital needs.
Essential Functions

· Lead, engage, and continuously develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals
· Partner with leadership in assessing staffing needs and developing effective recruiting strategies
· Provide leaders with tools, techniques, and processes to help identify key talent in the recruitment process and ensure consistency in the execution
· Establish and maintain relationships with employment sources, such as educational institutions, search firms and trade associations
· Ensure all facets of the Talent Acquisition process are handled in a legally compliant and consistent manner, including job approvals, job postings, interviews, pre-employment screening, candidate selection, job offers and candidate communications
· Collaborate with HR leaders on various projects and initiatives
· Other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
· Minimum 8 years' experience and senior leadership responsibility in Talent Acquisition
· Ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments, as well as a proven capacity to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
· Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
· Deep functional/technical expertise in talent acquisition
· Strong communication, partnership, teamwork and influencing skills are required
· Ability to drive strategy, work with data and analytics, and demonstrated capability in effective and creative recruiting and sourcing strategies
· Ability to articulate the recruitment strategy across remote locations and engage and influence top management decisions
· Exceptional written/oral communication and confident, polished presentation skills
· Experience working with iCIMS applicant tracking system is preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will directly supervise a Manager and indirectly Recruiters, a HR Coordinator and a Sourcing Specialist.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
This position will require up to 10% travel.
