Summary/Objective
The Communications and Engagement Coordinator plays a key support role within the HR Team, working closely with the Communications and Engagement Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to create and deliver compelling messaging and experiences. This associate will contribute to associate engagement, brand visibility, and strategic communication by helping plan and execute internal communications, corporate events, and community involvement initiatives.

- Support the development and delivery of associate communications, campaigns, and engagement initiatives to align with business priorities and departmental goals.
- Coordinate logistics, budgets, timelines, and creative elements for communications and events, ensuring high-quality execution across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Create and publish content across internal channels, including the associate newsletter, intranet, digital signage, and company website.
- Design visual assets and marketing collateral such as event graphics, infographics, video content, and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with Marketing team members to ensure smooth planning and delivery of the corporate events calendar.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to develop and distribute ACA-branded materials and promotional items.
- Contribute to associate recognition efforts by assisting with related programs and communications.
- Help cultivate relationships with community partners and support ACA’s charitable giving and outreach initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Communications and Engagement function.
Qualifications
- Experience in corporate event planning and corporate communications strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Human Resources, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.)
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with an understanding of audience and tone
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for associate engagement
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills
- Comfort working across departments and building relationships at all levels of the organization
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
