JOB DESCRIPTION 
 
Summary/Objective: 
Provides wide-ranging technical and operational support to ACA’s corporate Learning and Development team.  This requires strong communication, technical, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience with and the ability to comfortably juggle changing and competing priorities will be a key success factor. As a member of the ACA corporate training team, this role will be primarily responsible for supporting the Training team. Ideal candidate seeks to develop as a trainer.
Essential Functions:
  • Organizing training logistics and scheduling of training sessions/meetings 
  • Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives; changing priorities to complete assignments as necessary based on business needs
  • Preparation of training materials and training rooms for instructor-led training
  • Suggest and create more efficient processes across the Talent Development and Training team where possible.
  • Work closely with corporate Talent Development and Training team members needed on special projects.
  • Maintain training records
  • Communicate with associates of scheduled training and track attendance
  • Coordinate logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
  • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Sit-in support of a variety of forums, roundtables, and other training sessions
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred / High school diploma or GED required; at least 1-3 years of experience directly related to the essential functions specified
  • Proficiency and comfort with advanced level of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and presentations 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism based on integrity and humility
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • The ability to analyze problems and collaboratively strategize for appropriate solutions
  • High level of interpersonal skills that develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with a diverse population, and maintain them over time
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent customer service skills
 
 
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
 
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and e-faxing.
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
 
Travel:
This position will require 5% travel to other offices as needed.
