About this role:
The Sales Trainer is dedicated to creating and facilitating training curriculum that supports the growth of the Sales department. This includes organizing and delivering training programs related to our processes, techniques, and approaches.

- Provides orientation support by facilitating the training of new employees for the sales department.
- Utilize adult learning techniques and training methods to achieve learning objectives.
- Reviews existing training programs: make modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention
- Partners with business leaders and stakeholders to determine ongoing departmental training needs and create/deliver content to address.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain effective online/classroom training programs.
- Utilize various instructional techniques and formats such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and lectures.
- Familiar with using professional eLearning/classroom authoring software to assist with creating and updating training curriculum, videos, quizzes, infographics, e-learning modules, supplemental learning materials, etc.
- Maintain a team-focused mentality and establish positive working relationships with all departments.
- Provide clear and concise communication to various levels of the organization.
- Stay abreast of policy and procedural updates and ensure that current, accurate, and effective training materials.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidates should meet 80% of the listed qualifications to be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree Education, Sales, Organizational Development or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in training, development management, and/or sales role
- Knowledge of learning, adult learning principles, methodologies, and development best practices
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business tools
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented and maintains a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to demonstrate effective classroom management skills.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex information and ideas to a variety of audience.
- Must have the ability to solve problems, digest and apply information, learn new skills, and think critically
- Excellent time management skills, highly energetic, and self-motivated
- Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position reports to the office and operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
This position may require occasional travel. Must be able to make travel arrangements, be comfortable with air travel, be able to drive, and walk around the dealership if needed.
