Summary/Objective
The Customer Advocate, Payment Processing I is responsible for processing payments into ACA and from ACA as appropriate with a high focus on accuracy. Key tasks include but are not limited to: processing payments, charge off/reversal of charge off, overpayments/refunds, fees, and investigation/resolution of issues in compliance with the applicable policies and procedures.

  • Completes work with a high level of quality and timeliness.
  • Displays partnership and provides an excellent customer experience to internal and external customers.
  • Communication, written and verbal, is professional and courteous.
  • Provides process improvement recommendations, as applicable.
  • Acts as a backup for other team members as appropriate.
  • Resolves issues with low/medium complexity with little/no supervision.
  • Completes and passes all company required training courses by assigned due date(s).
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Excellent analytical skills, strong sense of organization, detailed oriented
  • Proficiency in MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as internet navigation
Supervisory Responsibility 
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
 
Work Environment and Physical Demands 
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with some schedule variations as needed.
  
Travel 
No travel is expected for this position.
