Summary/Objective 
The Executive Assistant to the COO enhances the COO’s effectiveness by providing administrative support including but not limited to managing correspondence and other written or electronic communication, scheduling travel, maintaining the COO’s calendar, and representing the COO in meetings and other business functions, when necessary.

Essential Functions

•Serves as the primary administrative support personnel to the COO
•Determines ideas that will streamline and organize the COO’s work and time
•Manages and maintains the COO’s schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
•Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents for dissemination and meetings
•Arranges and coordinates meetings, ensuring that all necessary information and refreshments are available
•Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them, in person or via telephone; answering or directing inquiries to the appropriate staff
•Handles personal assistant responsibilities, such as running errands, making reservations, booking personal travel, etc.
•Performs other related functions delegated or assigned in the capacity of an Executive Assistant
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed
•Supports other members of executive team, as time permits
•Other tasks as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility
This position will supervise a team of Administrative Assistants.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.

Travel
This position will require up to 10% travel.
