Summary/Objective
The Dealer Relations Specialist is responsible for helping our Dealer Partners and internal teams with issues and processes related to the transition of acquired loans. This position will handle buyback processing, payments, collateral documents; and is the primary liaison between our customers, Spartan and internal teams.
Essential Functions

- Cleary communicate verbally or in writing with Seller regarding transition, payments, documents, account issues, and other items as encountered.
- Build business acumen and product knowledge to support and problem solve with Seller and internal customers.
- Support Servicing and other internal teams by researching and responding to account inquiries via queue, email and phone.
- Review account statuses, process and communicate buybacks.
- Communicate with Seller regarding buybacks; track, receive and process payment for outstanding amounts.
- Work with sellers to ensure that ACA receives all trailing collateral documents in a timely manner and that they are secured with our custodian.
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with internal and external partners.
- May work on special projects or be required to compose written documents and perform analysis.
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills; customer service oriented
- Relationship management experience preferably in auto financing
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and manage time effectively
- Detail and action-oriented personality
- Excellent problem solver with an empathic and friendly attitude
- Proven computer literacy skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday-Friday. The daily schedule may vary from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
